Cancellation Policy

Cancel Anytime
No long-term contracts. Cancel before your next billing date and pay nothing more.
Access Until Period Ends
After cancelling you retain full access for the remainder of your paid billing period.
No Cancellation Fee
We charge no fees for cancelling. Simply manage your subscription through the billing portal.
Territory Lock Released
Exclusive territory locks are released when a subscription ends — another subscriber can claim it.
How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time through the self-service billing portal:
- Go to My Account
- Enter your subscriber email address
- Click Billing & Invoices to open the Stripe billing portal
- Select Cancel subscription
Alternatively, email info@geninfos.com and we will process your cancellation within one business day.
Billing After Cancellation
Your subscription renews monthly on the same date each month. When you cancel:
- No further charges will be made after the current billing period
- You will continue to receive permit alerts and have data access until the period ends
- Your exclusive territory lock (if applicable) remains active until the period ends, then is released
Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:
- You cancel within 48 hours of your initial subscription signup
- The Service experiences a significant outage (more than 72 consecutive hours) during your paid period
- We made a billing error
To request a refund under any of these circumstances, contact us at info@geninfos.com within 7 days of the charge.
Exclusive Territory Locks
If you hold an exclusive territory lock and your subscription is cancelled or lapses, the lock is released immediately when your billing period ends. A competitor may claim your niche/county combination at that point. There are no grace periods for exclusive territory locks once a subscription ends.
To protect your exclusive territory, ensure your payment method is up to date. If your payment fails, you will receive email notifications to update your billing. After 7 days of non-payment, your subscription will be suspended and your exclusive lock may be released.
Reactivation
You may reactivate a cancelled subscription at any time through the billing portal or by contacting us. Note that your previous exclusive territory lock is not guaranteed to be available upon reactivation — if another subscriber has claimed it, you will be offered the next available exclusive slot or a non-exclusive plan.
